Join us for Anything But Golf on August 29, 2026, from 5–9 PM at the Venice Community Center! Enjoy 18 rounds of mini golf with a twist using anything but a golf club. Complete your scorecard for a chance to win a grand prize! Your admission includes entry plus 3 Par-Tee tickets to use on food, drinks, or activities. Additional activities will be available throughout the event, including our inflatable dart board and Spin the Bottle Challenge. Participation in these activities requires extra Par-Tee tickets (2 tickets per activity), available for purchase in advance or at the event.
This event is a fun twist on mini golf where participants will take on 18 creative holes using anything but a golf club. Expect plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and a lot of imagination as you make your way through each round.
Anything But Golf - Rules of Play
1.No Golf Clubs Allowed -If it looks like a golf club… it’s cheating 😉
2.Use the Prop Provided -Each hole has its own “tool of choice.” No swapping, no upgrades.
3.Any Hole. Any Order. -Because this is Anything But Golf, there’s no official course order, roam freely and create your own chaos.
4.One Ball, One Turn -Take turns, cheer loudly, laugh often.
5.Maximum of 6 Strokes -After 6 attempts, pick up your ball and take the win for effort.
6.Safety First -Gentle swings only, this is mini golf, not the Home Run Derby.
7.No Practice Swings -Confidence is key. Accuracy is optional.
8.House Rules Apply -If something ridiculous happens… it counts.
9.Have Fun & Support the Mission -Every swing helps children and families move toward stable housing through Family Promise of South Sarasota County.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Family Promise of South Sarasota County, helping children and their families in our community who are experiencing housing insecurity. Your participation directly supports programs that provide shelter, resources, and pathways toward long-term housing stability.
Each completed scorecard will also earn an entry into our grand prize raffle, and guests can enjoy additional activities throughout the event for even more chances to get involved and support the cause.
